BLOTTER REPORT
MAY 13, 2013


Information is provided by the White Pine Sheriff's office. Information and spellings of names contained in the blotter are as released by the Sheriff's office. Information will not be withheld at the requests of persons whose names appear in the blotter. Permission is not necessary to publish names released by law enforcement. REPORT OF A THEFT
City — reporting party stated that while she was at work she placed her purse in the employee break room. When she went to retrieve her purse it was gone. Investigation continues.

REPORT OF A BATTERY
City — reporting party stated that while he was at work he was battered by a co-employee. Officers are attempting to locate the co-employee.

REPORT OF A THEFT.
Reporting party stated that someone had stolen a firearm from his residence. Investigation continues.

REPORT OF A ACCIDENT / PRIVATE PROPERTY
City — George Tilby of Ely was operating a vehicle and was backing up. He failed to see a parked vehicle belonging to Dale Pettit of Merino, CA. Tilby’s vehicle struck Pettit’s vehicle causing damage. A accident report was completed.

REPORT OF A DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE
City — officer received a report of a domestic disturbance that was taking place. Officer contacted the parties involved and during his investigation arrested Rayah R. Lemons age 38 of Ely. Lemons was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, under the influence of a controlled substance and probation violation.

REPORT OF A THEFT
City — reporting party stated that he gave his gun to a friend to work on it and now the friend stated that the gun was stolen. Officer contacted the parties involved who declared that the gun had been stolen.

REPORT OF A ARREST
City — officer reported that Celissie L. Thompson age 22 of Ely was arrested on a Ely Justice Court warrant for injury to property.

REPORT OF A FRAUD
Reporting party stated that someone had used his name to open up a cellular telephone account. Investigation continues.

REPORT OF A JUVENILE PROBLEM
Reporting party stated that his juvenile son had been shot with a BB gun by another juvenile. The reporting party only wanted the incident documented. No further action was taken.

REPORT OF POSSIBLE CHILD ABUSE
Reporting party was concerned about a child who rides the same school bus as her children. Investigation continues.
